Trend: The Return to Romance

So for all of you who, like us, thought we had to mourn the loss of the Bohemian romance era and instead embrace the new trend of minimalism that came marching towards us on the S/S11 catwalks.. fear not. The models at Milan Fashion Week have been sashaying down the catwalk in flouncy maxi dresses in ethnic prints as seen at Etro, chiffon dresses in putty palettes at Alberta Ferretti and a refreshingly white collection (infused with the occasional animal print of course) at Dolce & Gabbana. Spread the love.

Still pining over Christopher Bailey's latest collection for Burberry Prorsum S/S11. With studded biker jackets layered over delicate silk-tiered mini dresses this was rock chic at its best.
